Pivoton, a Dutch SaaS provider, has become part of Germany’s zvoove Group. The merger between Pivoton and zvoove Group helps the German IT services company accelerate its market leadership in Europe and enter another European country with its software for temporary staffing providers.

Pivoton becomes part of zvoove Group
Pivoton is one of the largest players in the market for temporary staffing software in the Netherlands. In its trends report for 2021, Statista showed that temporary placements will see the strongest growth of nearly 80 per cent. The report showed that this growth will come amidst modest growth in operating budget or reskilling efforts.
With a long history of success in the Netherlands, Pivoton even serves as a backbone for this temporary staffing industry in the country. From recruiting to billing and payment of employees, Pivoton takes care of most tasks with its SaaS software package. The software package allows customers to establish fast, highly efficient, and legally compliant processes.
The integration does not stop only at core functions. Pivoton also offers other services to aid businesses with temporary staffing requirements. It also has an ecosystem of partner companies that help businesses to stay competitive. Located in Ede, the Dutch SaaS provider was founded in 2014 and it counts InterUM, Olympia, and Active Works! among its customers.

zvoove Group: what you need to know
zvoove Group is a German IT services company formed by the merger of LANDWEHR, rhb, prosoft and BackOffice in 2021. With an established roots in software, digitalisation, and automation, the company is adding another company to its portfolio in the form of Dutch SaaS provider Pivoton.
The company operates on the fundamental belief that companies will need a central and cloud-based platform for their digital strategy in the future and it provides them with the tools necessary today. It provides software for personnel and event services that implement fully digital end-to-end processes.
Its personnel services allow companies, employees, candidates, and customers to connect with each other. With six offices across Germany, the Netherlands, and Switzerland, the zvoove Group has over 300 employees, over 55,000 users of its software solutions, and over 3,000 active customers.
Now, to further expand its customer base and strengthen its market share in Europe, the company is adding Pivoton to its SaaS arsenal. With Pivoton, zvoove Group wants to succeed in the Netherlands, where the sector has reported growth in 2021 compared to 2020. According to the Dutch Federation of Private Employment Agencies (ABU), the total number of hours in 2021 increased by 15 per cent and the total turnover has increased by 18 per cent.
The Dutch temporary employment sector registered strong growth in 2021 after a decline of 14 per cent in 2020. “The Netherlands is one of the most important markets for temporary staffing companies worldwide. The merger has a high strategic value for us and further expands our European market leadership,” says zvoove CEO Oliver Muhr.
“At the same time, our customers in Germany and Switzerland will benefit from the transaction, as we now have even more temporary staffing market experts within Europe which are driven to deliver further competitive advantages via innovative software to our customers,” he adds.
With Pivoton under its belt, the zvoove group can focus on bringing efficiency and scalability to its temporary staffing software in the Netherlands and Europe. While the transaction details were not revealed, the larger group stands to fend off rivals better in the fast growing staffing industry.
