Zomato’s adjusted revenue rose 66% to Rs 2,363 crore in the third quarter, led by a jump in income from its business-to-business segment, Hyperpure.
The Gurugram-based company earned Rs 1,565 crore from its core food-delivery business in the October-December quarter, up 30% from the same period in the year prior.
Gross order value in the food delivery business rose 21% year-on-year, although average order value was up by a more modest 6%. Average monthly transacting customers improved to 17.4 million from 15.3 million in the year-earlier period.
At Hyperpure, the firm’s B2B supplies division, Q3 revenue grew 168% to Rs 4,210 crore.
Consolidated loss for the third quarter widened to Rs 347 crore from Rs 67 crore a year earlier.
