Amsterdam-based fintech unicorn Mollie launches ‘Mollie Acceleration Fund’ of €1M: How to apply


Mollie, an Amsterdam-based payment service provider, announced on Wednesday that it has launched a new €1M fund dubbed ‘Mollie Acceleration Fund.’ 

The fund will support developers, startups, and digital agencies that help the growth of its 125,000+ eCommerce merchant customers.

Who can apply?

The Mollie Acceleration Fund is open to developers, software companies, and digital agencies across the globe. 

Mollie said it would welcome integrations with “new SaaS solutions and add-on products that enhance its offering via new tools, applications or third-party software.”

The selected applicants will receive integration funding, access to Mollie’s 125,000+ customers, tools, market and customer insights. Those who are interested can click here to apply.

Founded by Adrian Mol in 2004, Mollie is a payments platform that offers an easy-to-implement process for integrating payments into a site or app.

The company is on a mission to make online payment simple for merchants by taking away the complexity from payment methods and offering a simple, but powerful API.

With a simple and clear payments-API, Mollie offers multiple payment methods uniformly. 

At present, the company serves more than 125,000 monthly active merchants of all sizes, including Deliveroo, Gymshark, Wickey, and Otrium. 

As of now, the company is operational in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, and France.
