Amsterdam-based 10X, a platform that develops and creates business models, has announced the launch of a programme and venture impact fund named Spirit of Enterprise.
The Dutch company has partnered with Nyenrode Business University, ROM Utrecht Region, Dutch Startup Association (DSA), and the Ministry of Defence, the Netherlands, for this initiative.
What is the Spirit of Enterprise programme?
The Spirit of Enterprise is a free, 12-week, part-time programme to support the best founding teams in bringing their ideas to market. The platform provides an opportunity to test ideas and find a team or a co-founder.
The top five best founding teams who make it through the programme will receive €150K to €500K as upfront investment to accelerate their startups.
How does the Spirit of Enterprise programme work?
The programme is divided into three tracks:
Personal and team development: Simulate a real-world environment to develop ideas faster and under pressure, as well as identify core strengths, traits, and skills.
Paradigm shifts and trends: Learn about current environmental, societal, economic, and technological trends and how to shift paradigms to address some of today’s most complex, interconnected issues.
Startup know-how and idea valuation: Allows participants to learn real-life tested startup methodology using the latest collections of tools, from no-code solutions to building prototypes.
Who can attend this programme?
This programme is ideal for the professional seeking startup capital, a student who would like to learn more about the startup world, or a founder looking for a co-founder. However, the venture impact fund accepts only 100 participants into its initial cohort this fall.

Lucien Burm, the founder of 10X, says, “Spirit of Enterprise initiative is to address the biggest challenge in the startup ecosystem: producing the best teams with the best founders, before producing startups. The programme is open to everyone with startup potential and is free to join. The most founder-friendly funding and the best startup jobs await the best of them.”
