US-based Stagwell, a marketing and advertising company, announced on Thursday that it has acquired Brand New Galaxy, an Amsterdam-based independent platform that integrates smart business solutions in the areas of marketing and technology.
Driving commerce for brands
Founded in 2017, Brand New Galaxy (BNG) is a provider of end-to-end e-commerce solutions and content production. The company claims to offer several methodologies, including Robonauts Pictures e-commerce Real Feel, using production ‘twists’ that make online consumers’ product experience comparable to a physical one.

Besides, BNG’s other specialised solution is their FMCC – Fast Moving Consumer Communications method, which delivers a quick and scalable content production solution. Part of BNG’s proprietary tools is Synthrone, a modular and flexible ecosystem of automated services for content storage, creation, localisation, publishing, tracking, and reporting.
Nomad Fund was the first institution to invest in BNG, seeing the potential of its model even while it was still being built. At the end of 2019, Piotr Morkowski bought out Nomad Fund and became a leading investor and Chairman of BNG’s Supervisory Board. In 2020, the agency made its first acquisition, a well-known American agency, content26 – this made BNG the first Polish-born agency to acquire a key US player.
Besides, the pandemic did nothing to slow down growth as BNG continued to expand, closing 2020 with a presence in Dubai, Amsterdam and Seattle, and a workforce of 500 members.
Aim of this acquisition
With this development, BNG will join Stagwell Media Network part, a global community of omnichannel agencies which collaborate to deliver future-facing solutions driven by data, talent, technology, consultancy, and media expertise.
