Amsterdam’s Brand New Galaxy acquired by US-based Stagwell: Know more her

US-based Stagwell, a marketing and advertising company, announced on Thursday that it has acquired Brand New Galaxy, an Amsterdam-based independent platform that integrates smart business solutions in the areas of marketing and technology.

Driving commerce for brands

Founded in 2017, Brand New Galaxy (BNG) is a provider of end-to-end e-commerce solutions and content production. The company claims to offer several methodologies, including Robonauts Pictures e-commerce Real Feel, using production ‘twists’ that make online consumers’ product experience comparable to a physical one.

Besides, BNG’s other specialised solution is their FMCC – Fast Moving Consumer Communications method, which delivers a quick and scalable content production solution. Part of BNG’s proprietary tools is Synthrone, a modular and flexible ecosystem of automated services for content storage, creation, localisation, publishing, tracking, and reporting.

Nomad Fund was the first institution to invest in BNG, seeing the potential of its model even while it was still being built. At the end of 2019, Piotr Morkowski bought out Nomad Fund and became a leading investor and Chairman of BNG’s Supervisory Board. In 2020, the agency made its first acquisition, a well-known American agency, content26 – this made BNG the first Polish-born agency to acquire a key US player.

Besides, the pandemic did nothing to slow down growth as BNG continued to expand, closing 2020 with a presence in Dubai, Amsterdam and Seattle, and a workforce of 500 members.

Aim of this acquisition

With this development, BNG will join Stagwell Media Network part, a global community of omnichannel agencies which collaborate to deliver future-facing solutions driven by data, talent, technology, consultancy, and media expertise.

Stagwell claims it is the challenger network built to transform marketing by delivering scaled creative performance to brands, connecting culture-moving creativity with technology to harmonise the art and science of marketing. Led by entrepreneurs, Stagwell’s 10,000+ specialists in 34+ countries are unified under a single purpose: to drive effectiveness and improve business results for their clients.

Mark Penn, Chairman and CEO of Stagwell, says, “We are pleased to welcome Brand New Galaxy to the Stagwell platform, expanding the reach of our global e-commerce offerings. Their state-of-the-art e-commerce and digital transformation technology is another reason clients are choosing Stagwell over traditional holding companies.”

Currently, there are more than 70 agencies within Stagwell, working in 24 countries to deliver scalable solutions for 4,000 clients around the globe. Some of the industry’s ‘iconic’ names have already joined Stagwell, including Doner, 72andSunny, Anomaly, Code and Theory or Assembly.

Stagwell Media Network comprises more than 3,000 experts with a global footprint across 40+ offices in 20 countries, managing close to $5B in media. Agencies include Assembly, MMI Agency, Goodstuff and Grason, creative consultancy GALE, B2B specialist Multiview, multi-lingual content agency Locaria, and travel and media experts Ink.

Besides, the network offers marketers a dynamic partner for global B2B and B2C solutions spanning data, technology, media, and creativity to accelerate business growth for brands worldwide.
