How does it work?
Takeaway Pay allows businesses to provide their employees with meal benefit plans, enabling them to order from a wide range of Just Eat Takeaway.com restaurant partners.
The new debit card will allow Takeaway Pay corporate clients to use their meal allowance at thousands of selected food and beverage merchants that accept Mastercard and Maestro worldwide.
“With a shift to hybrid workplaces and return to offices, Takeaway Pay accelerates its trajectory to empower employees’ every food moment. No matter if employees are at home, on-the-go for commutes, on a business trip or for regular outdoor team lunches, Takeaway Pay is the benefit that serves corporations’ employees with the most holistic food benefits.” says Imad Qutob, Director Corporate Solutions at Just Eat Takeaway.com.
Initial roll out in Europe
Initially, the card will be rolled out to Just Eat Takeaway.com’s employees in Europe. The product will also be available to Just Eat Takeaway.com’s corporate clients in the Netherlands, Germany and Poland, with more countries to follow soon. Notably, Takeaway Pay is already available in 12 countries.
Adyen’s Issuing provides an expense management solution that handles the end-to-end process in a single platform, allowing greater flexibility on card usage and real-time confirmation of payments.
“We’re thrilled to see more use cases of our issuing solution being implemented,” says Kamran Zaki, COO of Adyen. “As easy as our cards make it for Just Eat Takeaway.com’s corporate clients and employees to shop and dine, we look forward to seeing their HR teams benefit from the instant and transparent overview of employee spending,” he added.
