Launched in 2020 by Rajat Jadhav, Rahul Krishnan, Harsh Singh, and Mohit Yadav, Bold Care is an end-to-end men’s health and wellness platform that addresses health issues such as — sexual health, hair care and daily nutrition. It was accelerated by Huddle and seed-funded by Rajesh Ranavat, executive director Fung Investments.
The Mumbai-based startup offers free digital consultations with expert physicians and provides discreet two-day delivery of allopathy and natural products to address these issues. Bold Care believes that the future of healthcare will be specialised.
“The funds raised will help us grow, enhance our product line and broaden our customer base including eventual overseas expansion where we already have some green shoots. Having investors who share our vision has helped us in our growth and success,” said Rajat Jadhav, cofounder, Bold Care, while announcing the funding.
Sharing more details about the investment, Rishabh Mariwala, cofounder and director, Sharrp Ventures, said, “We are excited to partner with Bold Care. Its products address unmet needs for Indian men. With unique approach, the consumer-forward products and system will ease pain points faced by consumers.”
Bold Care is a customer-first brand aimed at solving men’s health issues from a health-first mindset compared to a lifestyle-like solution.
“From servicing 100 customers in July 2020, we had a fast growth journey in the last 18 months, scaling to more than 25,000 monthly users as of January 2022,” Jadhav said.
As per Jadhav, the startup’s 2,30,000 men users reinforces its confidence in the market potential and acceptance. It said it manages everything in-house from marketing, operation, customer support to maintain quality as well as privacy for users.
Besides its website, Bold Care offerings are also available on marketplaces such as Amazon, Flipkart, PharmEasy, Nykaa, and CRED. Some of its products include holistic sexual wellness kits, complete haircare packs, and natural supplements to boost immunity, sleep, haircare, and sexual health.
Bold Care has also launched its own range of natural water-based lubricants and natural latex condoms to promote safe and better sex.
