Rattle is a modern business operations automation & orchestration platform offering chat platforms the new UI for enterprise apps

Enterprise tech startup Rattle has raised $2.8 Mn in Seed funding from lead investors Lightspeed & Sequoia Capital India. In addition, angel investors such as Amy Chang (EVP at Cisco & Disney board member), Ellen Levy (early investor in Outreach), Jake Seid (early investor in Brex & Carta), and Krish & Raman (the founders of SaaS unicorn Chargebee) participated in the round.

The new influx of funds will be channelled to double down on the startup’s growth and ramp up its hiring to build more product integrations.

Launched earlier this year by Apoorva Verma, Milan Singh, and Sahil Aggarwal, Rattle makes chat platforms the new UI for enterprise apps. It sits on top of solutions, like Salesforce and Slack, to offer AEs and SDRs to update CRM, get real-time visibility, and review pipeline reports via Slack. It also aids in sending automated messages on Slack, post every qualified meeting.

The startup claims its no-code platform is customisable and allows any member of the go-to-market (GTM) team to set up & automate their workflows, alerts, and processes in less than a minute.

Rattle, which currently has a core customer base from high-growth technology companies in North America and Europe, claims over 50 enterprises are using its services, including Terminus, Olive, Litmus, Imply and Parsely.

The startup with a net promoter score of 81 says that nearly 70% of its trial customers sign up for paid plans. In addition, it claims to be driving customer acquisition on the back of word of mouth marketing.

Agarwal said, “Sales and marketing professionals should spend time only with their customers and not on internal process management. While our growth has been phenomenal, our high NPS is what we care about most, which tells us we are solving a massive problem for our users.”

Rattle now plans to bring the transformation it brought about in Slack and Salesforce for all enterprise software.  It will soon be starting its go-to-market GTM tech stack and adding support for MS Teams.
