Startupbootcamp announces 11 new startups for its Mobility and Transportation Program


Startupbootcamp, an Amsterdam-based startup accelerator that provides investment and mentorship services, announced on Thursday that it has selected 11 startups to participate in the first cycle of its Mobility and Transportation Program, which is part of the Bold Action initiative. 

The announcement comes one month after announcing 11 startups to its sustainability programme.

The selected startups were part of the top 20 teams pitching during ‘Selection Days,’ a 3-day digital event. Investors, industry experts, mentors, and partners of Startupbootcamp chose the top 20 teams from thousands of applications. 

Through the Mobility and Transportation Program, Startupbootcamp and its co-investors will invest in startups building Connectivity, Smart infrastructure, and Asset servicification solutions. 

The programme is tailored to the ever-changing mobility and transportation industry landscape and designed to empower startups and scale-ups aiming to disrupt the industry with their solutions. 

What to expect?

Startupbootcamp’s programme is designed to help entrepreneurs build their businesses efficiently, from product development to fundraising. The programme will guide every aspect of efficient business building, helping entrepreneurs to create successful businesses.

Startupbootcamp says that the startups in their accelerator programme work directly with some of the most experienced and knowledgeable mentors in their field. They also get access to a vast network of future partners and an expansive pool of investors that are applicable to help them grow their business.

The end of the programme is marked by Demo Day, the final event where the selected founders pitch and present their startups to a panel of mentors, partners, and investors. 

Here’s the list of selected startups

Zilch – An e-commerce delivery solution for fast, convenient, and affordable fulfillment.

Alamance – Providing real-time, hyperlocal solutions to road condition monitoring using IoT & sensor fusion technology.

Gelectric – Providing electrical solutions to vessels to help the maritime industry become more sustainable and greener.

Voyship – A crowd shipping platform that helps travellers to earn more money by helping others to ship products.

Gluebus – Provides bus trips to local night events by leveraging an AI algorithm to plan routes and pool tickets.

Ecobeam – A decentralised P2P platform that helps car owners to earn more money through efficient resource allocation.

Karocharge – An online platform that facilitates renting private and public EV chargers.

IndieDrinks Direct – A cloud-based platform that optimises the supply chain by reducing the number of trucks on the roads.

Sealivery – Sealivery uses geolocation technology to bring people on boats anything they need at a time that’s most convenient, preventing many back and forth commutes.

Bufaga – A Smart device that can be mounted on any vehicle to help reduce the environmental footprint of company fleets in cities.

Regbes – Autonomous charger units located at ports and on ships, focusing on ferries.
