AWS launches GenAI Loft in Bengaluru for startups, developers


Amazon Web Services (AWS) on Monday launched AWS GenAI Loft in Bengaluru to offer a platform to gain insights on and explore real-world applications of generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) across industries.

To be held from July 29 to August 9, AWS said this initiative will bring collaborative pop-up spaces to key AI hotspots globally, offering developers, startups, and AI enthusiasts a platform to learn, build, and connect.

They will learn about the latest GenAI models and services through workshops, hands-on training sessions, AWS and partner demos, and networking with AI experts and thought leaders, AWS said in a statement.

Kumara Raghavan, Head – Startups, AWS India and South Asia, said, “The GenAI Loft is designed to provide a dedicated space for builders and innovators to learn, ideate, and gain hands-on experience in leveraging the transformative potential of generative AI.”

The GenAI Loft in Bengaluru will allow visitors to experience GenAI through sessions that offer technical immersions through workshops, business perspectives from entrepreneurs building India’s AI startups, and insights from industry leaders on the art of possible with GenAI.

AWS partners, including Shellkode, Datastax, Ganit, Cloudthat, Ankercloud, Rapyder, and GoML, will present demos on GenAI. They will also demonstrate how to build and scale GenAI applications using Partyrock.

AWS GenAI Loft expands on AWS’s recent commitment of $230 million to accelerate the creation of GenAI applications by startups globally. The tour will operate as a travelling residency, and after Bengaluru, it will move to San Francisco, São Paulo, London, and Paris.
