In a recent development, London-based investment firm Raising Partners has announced the launch of its online content platform – Runway.
With this platform, the UK company aims to empower entrepreneurs as they try to navigate the hurdles of raising investment and growing businesses.

Benefits of Runway
The online content features a contribution from experts, angel investors, founders, and entrepreneurs with their unique take on investment and funding. It also covers the core essentials of accessing capital, tips around crowdfunding, guides about raising investment, and other insights.
Available for free, users can consume content in terms of articles, videos, and webinars. Runway’s ‘Ask The Expert’ poses common questions to senior experts involved at each step across the investment journey.
Why Runway?
Runway is the brainchild of Helena Murphy, founder, and Managing Director, Raising Partners. Murphy created this platform to demystify the investment process as she experienced the risks of attempting to raise capital without the necessary knowledge and support.
Having received poor financial advice when fundraising, Helena ended up in £100K (approx €116K) of personal debt, had to wind up the business and suffered from stress-related alopecia as a result.
“Runway is the resource we wish had existed when we first raised investment and started growing our businesses because it can be so difficult to know what advice to follow,” comments Helena Murphy. “Together with our network of experts we’ll lift the lid and explore the realities of raising investment so that other founders can learn from our mistakes, and benefit from our successes. This community is about paying it forward, sharing knowledge and little nuggets of information as we all work together to advance the entrepreneurial ecosystem in the UK.”
Raising Partners Angels
A couple of months back, the UK company also announced the launch of Raising Partners Angels. With this initiative, the company aims to help its portfolio company benefit from direct access to high-quality, vetted investment opportunities. The company will focus on supporting businesses that make a significant impact on People, Processes, or the Planet.
Office Hours
Earlier this year, Raising Partners launched Office Hours, quick-fire sessions with founders to talk about fundraising and to provide genuine, transparent feedback. It is hosted fortnightly and can be booked through their website.
Created to crack investment landscape
Founded in 2017, Raising Partners was created to bring much-needed specialism and expertise to the notoriously hard to crack investment landscape.
The company is an early-stage equity fund that invests in companies from the pre-seed stage through to Series B.
At present, Raising Partners focuses on startups working in Fintech, Sustainability & Renewables, Life Sciences, Healthtech &Healthcare, Technology & Digital Innovations, and Consumer Brands & Retails.
