Taiwan-listed semiconductor company MediaTek on Thursday said it partnered with JioThings, a subsidiary of Jio Platforms, to launch 4G smart digital clusters and 4G smart modules tailored for the two-wheeler market.
The collaboration will bring Android-based smart digital cluster solutions to India and the global market.
MediaTek’s chips will combine with the Jio Things 2W Module, Avni OS, and the Jio Automotive App Suite to support up to full HD touchscreen displays.

Through the collaboration, customers will have access to the Jio Automotive App Suite, which includes services like Jio Voice Assistant, JioSaavn, JioPages, and more.

According to the companies, the Indian two-wheeler EV market is projected to reach Rs 10,000 crore by the end of 2025, with more than three million vehicles on the road growing at a CAGR of 50% over the next five years.
