Swiggy launches professional services app Pyng


Quick commerce and food delivery major Swiggy has broadened its offerings with Pyng, a professional services marketplace.

Pyng is an AI-powered platform that connects verified professionals, across 100+ specialisations, with consumers. The platform also offers a money-back guarantee in case users do not find value in the service.

The professional services app, which went live in January this year, offers access to specialists in health and wellness, financial advisors, event planners, travel advisors, and spiritual experts, among others.

The app, under the name Pyng Now, is currently live for users in Bengaluru.

With Pyng, we’re offering a reliable, spam-free platform where users can connect with trusted experts,” said Nandan Reddy, Co-founder and Head of Innovation at Swiggy, in a statement.

Pyng is the latest addition to the series of apps launched by Swiggy, In March, the company launched Assure, a B2B app for restaurants to source supplies, in direct competition to Zomato’s Hyperpure. Prior to this, it launched a standalone app for Swiggy Instamart, adopting a ‘house of brands/apps’ approach.

The Bengaluru-based firm has also launched Snacc, which promises quick delivery of food, The app offers breakfast, meals, beverages and snacks, predominantly unbranded in nature, barring select products from Blue Tokai and The Whole Truth.
