If you see a set of plans in the cover sheet, then you will usually see a list of people. When you have this list, you need to call up the owner or the architect so that you can find out who is bidding on the job. The great thing about this is that you can get in touch with a person who you may be able to get more work with, and you also have a list of other contractors who you might be able to send your bids to. This is very simple to do, and you only have to make a few phone calls. You may also find that it is a very reliable way for you to get more work on a regular basis.
Focus on your Skills
If possible, you need to make sure that you are the best at what you do. You will want to make sure that you have a contractors license for the state that you live in and you will also want to make sure that you are up to date with all of the latest changes that may have happened in your industry. If you can do this, then you will soon find that it is easier than ever for you to not only be more appealing, but for you to also set yourself apart as being an expert in the industry.
Hire Someone
If you want to get more clients, then you have to make sure that you are selling to more of them. You can’t do this if you feel as though you are continually bogged down. One way for you to get around this would be for you to hire an estimating company. You can then count on them to give accurate estimates on your behalf, which takes the guesswork out for you. It also gives your client a much more accurate idea of how much the job is going to cost.
